Palestinian hard line do not like the checkpoints they are completely against them because it prevents them to pass with ease. When they try to pass they face many struggles including "To be denied visits by relatives and friends from the other side,To give up studying or teaching in a college or university outside one’s area of residence. To give up travel abroad, unless it is vital. To give up a job or a position, or even to seek one, in a location outside one’s area of residence." and those are just a few examples of difficulties they face

checkpoints are connected to the theme of movement because checkpoints can allow you to physically move to places that is if your allowed to pass. Also Palestinians bring their beliefs pass their area when they go to school. Recently some checkpoints were closed "The military said in a statement that “due to the security events and in accordance with security assessments” Kerem Shalom crossing - the main passage point for goods entering the Gaza Strip, and the Erez pedestrian crossing - would be shut as of Thursday" they have made this decision because rockets have been shot at southern Israel.

checkpoints are related to place because on either side of the checkpoint there is sacred places. In Israel "The Western Wall an ancient stone retaining wall" is located there. On the other side of the checkpoint another sacred place is The church of Nativity in Palestine, Bethlehem its the "birthplace of Jesus since the 2nd century"
