Japan invaded the US at Pearl Harbor which was a military base.
Pearl Harbor is located in Hawaii on the island of O'ahu. 
Hawaii is located in the Pacific Ocean between California and Japan .
The battle was fought from the air by Japan because they throw bombs to the ships of the US , the US had to fight from land just shooting .


 the next day United States declared war on Japan and Germany (who was Japan's Allie) which made the US enter to World War 2.
