The government provided $90 billion to the clean energy industry and $150 billion from private and non-government investors to stimulate the energy economy. Investments in technology will increase efficiency and productivity. It will also help to preserve natural resources which give the US market value. $850 million was given to help small businesses improve technology so that they can stay afloat. In the long term, clean energy is the way of the future and we are one of the few developed countries who don't fully participate.
