Nowadays people are individualistic and they don't care about other people. The easiest thing to start is to listen to them, knowing their weaknesses. People are shy, may not want to share what they're good at, and don't want people to know their weaknesses. I cannot empower them if I don't understand what they need and provide what they need. 

Jenn - Give the people under you the room to make mistakes. Learn from your mentors and apply what you learn under them with them. "Tell me what you need" vs "I will tell you what you need"

Handojo - God has given each of us talents and gifts. Be someone others can depend on with those gifts. E.g. Handojo helping people with his own gifts and talents and solving problems with them. Not easy to deal with people but God gives the ability to help people. We need to keep other people in prayer! God reminded me that we need to let people know that we are here to help. We need to encourage each other more.


Lap - Empower by being simply available, by listening. Serve where the church needs, even if you're not good at it. Everyone has a gift to set up chairs 😂 No one needs a gift to clean the toilet. You empower the church by making it clean. You can serve and empower from the bottom too. The point is that God knows your heart.

We tend to show what we achieve during the church meetings. But when we don't pay attention to the weaknesses and addresses it it causes problems. We need to be vulnerable in front of church members. Everything that we're doing in our community is all for the glory of God! No need to be segregated according to the church or country.
