pneumonic type, as shown in the source targets and kills the victim through the the lungs,  "the organism settles in the lungs and over a couple of days, the lungs liquefy and the victim coughs them up." The septicaemia type targeted the blood stream, which stops the victim's ability to clot, so they are-"essentially bleeding to death from everywhere, at the same time." The bubonic type was the most common, and targeted the immune system, causing it to become inflamed
