He works at Oakwood Dental Arts in Staten Island and SHEL Dental in Norwalk. The third office that Dr. Avi Malkis works in is Yankee Family Dental Care in West Haven, where he treats children and adults in all phases of dentistry. Dr. Malkis is experienced in a wide range of dental procedures. He performs endodontic treatments that include root canals completed for emergencies, and he is certified in Invisalign. In addition, he assists with implant placement, cosmetic dentistry restorations, and extensive full mouth rehabilitation. A recipient of numerous accolades, Dr. Avi Malkis was presented with an award for academic excellence by Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honors society. This award recognizes dental students who rank in the top 10 percent nationally of their classes. His name appeared on the National Dean’s List. He also received honors in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Avi Malkis is fluent in English and Russian. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes a wife and two children.
