This public speaking course has taught me a lot about how to give a great speech in front of an audience. One strength of my individual video presentation is that I think I deliver the speech quite simply so that my audience can easily understand the content and what I am attempting to convey about my meaningful object. As for the weakness, I believe I can improve my confidence when giving the speech because I genuinely think I lack confidence when delivering my speech to the audience. I should practise more before delivering the speech to the others, because practise makes perfect. If you are short on time, you may be tempted to skip practising your speech. It also helps to improve your understanding of the presentation. As a result, the speech will go off without a hitch. In a nutshell, I truly think that as I give more public speeches to others, I will gain the confidence to stand and deliver my speech to my audience.

Did you guys watch we bare bears?

It is a cartoon show where they have 3 types of bear which are ice bear, panda and grizz.

So this guy is a panda and I named him Panpan.

I'm not sure whether you can see it or not but it's getting yellowish here so i guess it is a meaningful object for me, right?

Why is it meaningful for me? It is because this guy helps me go to sleep easier if I have him with me but I still can sleep if I don't have him and I usually bring him everywhere I go like vacation.

I bought this at Yubiso in a shopping mall in Johor Bahru if I'm not mistaken and I also used my own money. So it will be more meaningful if you buy something using your own money. I don't mind spending my money on the person I love but I do mind a little bit spending my own money on myself.

Title: How to be a good friend?

Outline

Provide a sense of belonging, reduce stress, help you get through difficult times

Adults with strong social networks are less likely to suffer from mental health problems

Aristotle, wrote extensively what friends are

There is special kind of love between friends

How to be a good friend?

Support one another (help him or her to feel better)

Be a good listener (listen first and then give solutions or suggestions to their problems)

Maintain respect and boundaries

Quality over quantity

It is important to cherish your good friends

Full Speech

Friendships provide a sense of belonging, reduce stress, boost confidence, help you get through difficult times, and make it easier to avoid unhealthy lifestyles. Adults with strong social networks are less likely to suffer from mental health problems, high blood pressure, and obesity. Older adults who have a large number of friends also live longer.

Aristotle, the ancient Greek philosopher, wrote extensively about what friends are and what makes good friends. He even stated that there is a special kind of love between friends. However, he essentially believed that good friends share sympathy and mutual care. This can include expressing emotions through empathy and supporting a friend in need.

Everyone can be a friend but not everyone is a good friend.

So, how to be a good friend?

1. First and foremost, we must support one another. When your friend is feeling down or blue, it is a good friend thing to do to make them feel better. You should support your friends in any way you can to make them feel better.

2. Next, be a good listener. Make an effort not to interrupt your friend while he or she is speaking. Both parties in a healthy friendship are willing to take part in what the other has to say. Allow your friend to finish her or his story before offering suggestions or solutions to their problems.

3. Maintain respect and boundaries. If you are friends with someone for long enough, there are sure to be issues that arise. Perhaps you do or say something that will upset your friend. Or maybe they have done something that upset you. Either way, close friends can candidly talk about these things and work through their issues.

4. Quality over quantity. While having a community is essential, you can feel pressured to have lots of friends in this modern age of social media followers. As you know, there are many types of friends nowadays. However, ignore this pressure. It is more important to have quality and close connections to fewer people rather than many superficial friend connections.

In a nutshell, it is important to cherish your good friends. If problems arise, let your friend know how much you care about them and want to hear them out. Then, try and work through the difficulties. This can offer both a chance to connect and grow in the friendship. However, sometimes people grow apart so for the time being truly appreciate your friends.

Title: Why does music give impacts to one’s life?

Outline

What is music?

Has the power to positively stimulate numerous sections of our brain

Music has a subconscious effect on us

Music have the ability to transport your thoughts

Stimulate our emotions, bring back memories

Helps enhance mood and other brain functions

The brains of seizure patients respond differently to music

Stroke patients, show improvement during recovery

Consider a world without music; impossible

 But some people might disagree

The lyrics and messages are analyzed by your brain and influence how you view the world

Full Speech

Music has always been a valuable tool in our life, as it has been scientifically proven to have a significant impact on the brain of any living person. Music has been shown to help in numerous sections or components of the brain, including some unique benefits such as pain treatment, stress release, memory issues, and other forms of brain injuries, according to recent studies.

According to certain experts, music has the power to positively stimulate numerous sections of our brain, assisting us with many forms of healing and treatment operations. Although we all have our own musical likes and preferences, it's difficult to ignore the rest of what's available in the music industry.

Music has a subconscious effect on us, not just because of the tune, but also because of the images and language used in the lyrics. Some studies have shown that listening to music of a patient's choice can significantly reduce pain and boost functional mobility. They believe that music has the ability to relieve a variety of pains by triggering opioids, which are our bodies' natural pain relievers. While listening to their favourite music or songs, various sorts of drugs taken by the patients are reduced. From this, we know that music has a massive influence on our memories and lyrics in a song can impact our lives.

Certain types of music have the ability to transport your thoughts to a previous timeline of ages in an instance. According to certain well-known studies, music has the ability to stimulate our emotions, and those emotions can bring back memories, restoring a sense of life and joy when nothing else can.

Some studies have shown that singing and listening to music helps enhance mood, orientation, narrative memory issues, and other brain functions when compared to standard care. In many situations, singing can help us improve our short-term and working memory. It has been discovered that the brains of seizure patients respond to music differently from the brains of persons who do not have seizure. They always feel comfortable and stress-free when they listen to music. According to another study, stroke patients who listened to music in the early phases of their recovery showed an improvement during their recovery.

So consider a world without music: no dances at weddings, no soundtracks for movies, no stadium concerts, and certainly no singing.

That may seem impossible, but music is all around us. However, some people might disagree that music or lyrics can have an impact on our life because everyone has their own perception. Many various types of music have been created over the years, but regardless of what music you listen to, the lyrics and messages are analyzed by your brain and will influence how you view the world around you.
