The way he acts out his feelings are very powerful with a melancholic setting where in his music video he is in tank cuffed up and the water is slowing rising until it finally filled up and there was just no way out of it, I believe that the tank, the water, and the cuffs all together represented how tired he was from trying because in the end he was still drowning but not fighting it anymore. That's exactly what I wanted to represent in my wall relief, instead of sculpting the tank I just took the title ‘mind is a prison’  and brought it to life and instead of the cuffs I decided to sculpt tree branches- (the one in horror movies that trap people) just to show the same theme but in a different way.

]]> 2021-04-07 00:16:59 UTC https://padlet.com/anahisuastegui03/CarrascoAnahi/wish/1389442305 anahisuastegui03 https://padlet.com/anahisuastegui03/CarrascoAnahi/wish/1389443327 I have created a wall relief consisting of a human brain -(which represents compulsive thoughts) and a prison cell -(which represent captivity or no escape from the thoughts) on the sides of the prison cells there are two black swans -(which represents power of one's own body, the swans are beautiful in their own unique way but they are destructive and take power like innocent or happy thoughts that sooner or later fade away and are replaced with pain and sorrow until numbness crawls - (which represents the tree branches) its way to suffocate it even more because although the brain is surrounded by prison cells the black swans don't seem to be satisfied so they intentionally bring in more thoughts that crawl its was for ultimate destruction of one's fragile mind.
