It's the most unashamedly gay thing on television and it should be applauded for that alone. It's something I can watch with straight guy friends and because it's so ridiculous, we can all laugh along while being wowed by the transformations the queens undergo. It's the best thing on television. Bar none.

Drag Race has showed me that aesthetic is much like opinion - everyone has a different one and nobody is wrong. Not only do I walk out of the house wearing whatever I like now, but I do it happily. I am so much more confident and more positive about others. Because when you love yourself, you do actually love other people more.

This show has just been amazing to me and my views. I love seeing people in a light I would have never known. I come from a Christian family and I still am a Christian. My wife actually turned me on to this show and now I love her more. I have realized I can still hold on my personal beliefs and still be so happy for others. Seeing chad on season 4 talk about how hard it is not to have the same rights as others, and not being able to see his partner if something ever happened to him broke my heart. This show has shown me that no matter your sexual orientation, religion, race or whatever. We all deserve happiness and LOVE!!!! I have learned to love myself for who I am and how I look. Thanks Ru for being so amazing and eye opening!!!! I

Drag Race is known for having a variety of different queens and views on the show, and that's really helped me come to terms with who I am. I'm a lot more comfortable being myself around people.

It made me feel more comfortable in my sexuality as a bisexual girl and gave me better confidence and self-love overall.

It made me appreciate what it means to be an individual - and how freeing it can be to relinquish the drowning feeling opinions from other people can give and be yourself. I learned that drag is an art and these people channel their vision into a craft. It also made me be more accepting of other peoples' differences. Honestly there hasn't been another show that has made me appreciate myself, or learned more from, or opened my mind wider than this one and I love it.

I love how this show, as a highly edited show about men dressing as women is a lot about pretence yet through this seems to speak to so many deep realities of every day life. The show is itself a drag creation; an illusion that teases and dazzles, that makes a joke of the most harsh things in life and also shows us how we can move past them. I find this distilled in some of Ru's corny gems like "If you can't love yourself how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else", and "We're born naked, and the rest is drag". A dark sky makes a nice background for a dazzling rainbow. Sounds over the top (much like RPDR) but that's the uplifting message I take from the show

It taught me to love myself for who I am. I never really understood what Ru meant when he says, "If you can't love yourself, how in the HELL you gonna love somebody else?"….but now I get it.

RuPual's Drag Race introduced me to so many amazing characters, and featured so many wacky, zany, hilarious scenarios that all had the benefit of mainstreaming LGBT people and getting them onscreen on their own terms. Props to you hooker!

RuPaul's Drag Race reminds me weekly of the loud, bold, and colorfully fun people that give our community a healthy dose of personality. I am constantly shown how overflowing the LGBTQ community is with passion, creativity, and perseverance.

Rupauls Drag Race taught me how to express emotions and gender identity through creativity and that i should never apologize or think less of myself for being weird and different. He teaches me that i should always love and be respectful and that if you cant love yourself how the hell you gonna love somebody else!
