Martyr's Day is a national day in which the United Arab Emirates expresses its appreciation for the sacrifices of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives and dedication of Emirati martyrs who have given their life in the UAE and abroad in the field of civil, military and humanitarian service defending the honour of the homeland.

The Commemoration day  is annually celebrated on December 1st , as of 2020.
