when it was Christmas time in1918 iñupiat got sick with the spanish full, being overwhelmed by the sickness they did have enough food, medicine. some did go home, and they wanted to go back to the live. that they had.

The church. were the ones who tried to take control of the inupiat, the sickness was getting so mad that, they put body's in the church, some were buried in one get whole that was dug up. when forced them to marry, after losing they partner's

men would have to pick the women and if they didn't the people from the church would pick for them and some were old enough to be their grandfather.

the outsiders were trying to control the inupiat, when the sickness dive down, and so many of them died and the outsiders was good but "mean" to the inupiat, the good part was letting they survie in a way bcause so many died, there were widows, and children that lost their parents. and that part of the outside contorling them was forcing them to get married. So the relationship for me at least some what good, its was just they did the thing they did too fast.

I think this was a really sad thing, the sickness was so that that so many of them died and families weren't families anymore. they waned to go back to the way they lived and the bodies were in the church. that made me realize that how i lucky i am to be here today, that my family and i didn't go through that.
