The unit helped me improve my understanding of both subjects. I was able to do a short recap on space science, etc. for science, blending, and shading. elements of art, etc... for art. The unit helped me think outside the box, which I enjoyed doing.
I was able to understand the beauty of science, through art. Art made it more visually understandable which was very convenient. 
Finally, through this unit, I was able to develop my critical and creative thinking skills, because as I mentioned previously this unit urged me to think outside the box. I was also an inquirer because I asked a lot of questions..

The two subjects that I had to make a disciplinary connection with were Science and Visual arts. This unit of IDU was able to help me make a connection between science and arts because of the given tasks. We had to create an artwork that explains and describes a particular science topic that we chose. The connection that I made was that we can explain science topics in the form of artwork. I could explore other concepts in science, for example, Waves, by making artworks that explain waves. The ATL skills that I have developed in this unit were research skills and thinking skills. The tasks required me to do in-depth research and think critically and creatively. The Learner profiles that I have developed in this unit were reflective and knowledgeable. Through IDU, I was able to understand how multiple science topics can be depicted and presented with art. 

Q2. While this unit may have centered around astronomy, various scientific concepts can be explored through art. This includes, but isn't limited to, anatomy, the color spectrum, light and shadows, and of course space. 

Q3. I learned to be an inquirer and an open-minded learner thanks to the interdisciplinary connection between two very different subjects. Question 2:

There are a lot of topics of science that I could explore with the use of arts. For example, I can explore space, including planets and galaxies, I can explore waves, and I can also explore how the periodic table works.

Question 3:

I have developed my thinking and creativity skills, since I had to think a lot while writing answers and reflecting on my work, and I had to use my creativity skills while creating the final artwork. It has helped me cross the disciplinary understanding as I was able to understand how my understanding of the universe through science can be represented through art. This was a great medium to explore and understand the way that art works as a representative of science. I could also use my knowledge of science to show a representation of some elements from the periodic table. For example, I can show some elements of the periodic table performing chemical reactions. This unit has helped me understand the disciplinary between science and arts, as we had to understand the topic in science which was about space. And use that knowledge, to create artworks in different medium.

Q2.

Science has a variety of topics to explore with the use visual arts. We have learnt about space science, about planets, satellites, etc... through this unit. I would explore how chemical reactions occur or how photosynthesis works in a deeper perspective. 

Q3.

The ATL skills which I have developed throughout this IDL are self - management, and thinking skills, because I had to manage myself in my time to finish all the work required. And thinking because, I had to become creative when creating my artwork for the chosen topic. The learner profile attributes used are reflective, inquirer, and knowledgeable. Reflective because, after every task, we had to reflect on what we did and how we can make it better. Inquirer because the topics were very vague, and there are many things we don't know about space, so I got curious and researched more on the topic.
