Hotel Ponce de Leon

Henry Flagler founded the hotel in 1885 in St. Augustine. It was the first large building made entirely out of poured concrete. He needed supplies to build the hotel so he bought a railroad. The railroad went from Jacksonville to St. Augustine. The hotel was one of three of Henry Flagler's to survive the Great Depression. Today, the hotel is now Flagler College.

Manatees
