UDL is a variety of teaching methods and strategies that is accomodating to many different types of students. Each student has a different learning style and experience. UDL allows teachers to factor in all of these differences and teach students effectively. UDL is a way to approach teaching with the mindset that teachers can individualize their lessons to cater to the specific needs of the students in their class. For example, UDL helps accommodate students with learning deficits, and caters to their needs that may be different from an advanced student. Technology is a great resource for many lessons in the classroom as it is a more flexible platform to work off of. For example if a student struggles with reading and comprehension, a teacher could assign an audiobook for the the student to listen to as they read along. The technology can also allow students to have access to more research.
