The figure of Pocahontas is the best example of that because she embodies a lot of the stereotypes about Native People. Not only is she oversexualized which you can notice in her way of "slithering around on the rocks," but she is also portrayed as part noble savage, part princess, part loose squaw. A figure such as Pocahontas is not necessarily portrayed as a strong leader but rather creates this stereotype of being easy, available and willing for men. Because of this mutual work, she is rewarded with a folk hero or the status of a princess. She is provided with the ability to transcend the world of her husband since marriage to a white man is seen as a reward.
