We have very experienced and educated teachers in our school, but they are not able to share their ideas with staff because we automatically go to the AEA.  AEA is good support but they also need to listen to us teachers as to what we know about the whole child.

First reaction is to bring in AEA. One of our current AEA stated an autistic student would have to get over their tics to meet reading fluency proficiency.
