This is probably the hardest farewell I have had to say in a long time. Although I haven’t known you my entire life, you have made such a strong, positive impact on my life that I feel I have known you forever. You’ll never know how much all the little things you did for me as a new employee (and beyond) really captured my heart. I’m so very thankful for your training and leadership in everything, but especially Leadworthy. I’ve learned so much about myself through your guidance, and I have found such joy in my career because you took the time to help me find it. Your retirement, although well-earned and amazing, will force an impossible hole to truly fill in the Calhoun City School System. I will miss you terribly, but I am so happy for you, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you do in the future. Don’t forget the little people when you become president!!
