Cup of tea: Stress in the body shows up as inflammation. This tea, with the power duo of turmeric and ginger, can be both sensory calming and anti-inflammatory. Turmeric and ginger have both been shown in studies to reduce inflammation. 


1 lemon, peeled and juiced, reserving peels

1 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated

1/4 tsp ground turmeric

2 tsp honey


In a small saucepan over high heat, cook the lemon peel, ginger, turmeric, and 1 cup of water until the water begins to boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in lemon juice and honey. Strain into a mug.
Drink slowly while reminding yourself that you are enough.
