  • Assessment is a guide through each step of learning.
  • Should provide feedback not as a reward or punishment, but as information.
  • You should incorporate a range of strategies to reflect the range of diversity of your students. 
  • There should not only be student, but also teacher self-assessment/reflection.
  • Everyone involved (student, teachers, parents, other staff at school) should have a clear view of the assessment- what is being assessed, the method of the assessment, and the criteria for success.
  • Importance of assessing the PROCESS, not just the PROJECT.
