Alicia Keys sings:
Looks like a girl but she's a flame
So bright, she can burn your eyes
Better look the other way
You can try but you'll never forget her name
She's on top of the world

Since the girl is metaphorically "a flame," she is compared to fire, and her energy (or beauty/ hotness) potentially causes destruction.

The words "bright" and "burn" are examples of alliteration that describe how the girl shines and hurts others such that one can notice her, but it's painful to look at her.

The idiom, "on top of the world," reveals some joy or happiness and success.

This represents that the ponies consider themselves true friends and help each other.

"the light that shines from a true, true friend" is personification because no light will literally shine from a pony but its saying that the ponies' inner beauty will shine through so everyone will see how kind and nice they are.

The alliteration of the words "secret siren" connect the oxymoron of these words since sirens are meant to be heard by everyone, not only secretly heard by one person. This could have been used to emphasize the betrayal and feeling of the character.
- The hyperbole "a thousand willow trees" is used to exaggerate the amount of pain suffered from the broken promises.

"And every single secret has been broadcast like TV" includes alliteration and a simile.
- Alliteration is found with the "s" at the beginning of two words. This was likely used to ensure the flow of the song and how the character would express their emotions poetically.
- The simile compares secrets shown to everyone similar to news on a television.

"Now all the threads are severed..."
- This line is a metaphor connecting bonds, though not clearly stated, to threads that were broken.

Rod Wave uses the word "Devil" to connect to the girl the song is about.

It is allusion because he uses the term "devil" to describe this girl that he fell in love with and a devil is associated with being evil, malicious, and devious.
