For example, transgender etc. It has less to do with sexuality, and sex assigned at birth rather it is a self-expression. So this will include how they look, how they should carry themselves/behave, their roles etc.. 

Example: 
The colour pink is for girls, blue for boys. 

Because man are masculine - they are expected to work those hard labour jobs and women would work office jobs, or not work at all, take care of the children.......
