This famous painting by Raphael represents humanism. The value of human worth and their character was formed under the label humanism, and the mother and child shows innocence in many people, and envy in other people. The pope during the Renaissance asked Raphael for the painting to be put into the Church of San Sisto.

This fresco shows all the greatest mathematicians, scientists, and philosophers from all across time and space inside one building. This large fresco was put on a wall in Vatican City. Many of Raphael's paintings went to Vatican City to make it look beautiful. Secularism is the separation from the church and state. This represents secularism because it shows all the greatest minds but doesn't represent god in any way, but instead shows the feats of humans.

This villa house was built and designed by mostly Raphael, with some help from others. It was built on a hill, and has a large yard with many hedges. Raphael's Villa Madama can be recognized as built during the Rennaissance because there are no religious sections or shrines within or outside the house. Houses and villas around this time were less focused on religion.

Raphael painted this portrait of the pope of his time in the year 1517. It is famous for its vibrant reds and lots of shadowing. This painting represents the principles of the Renaissance because one of them was humanism, which was the appreciation of human character and value. Raphael painted this picture for the pope because he appreciated his worth.2

The Galatea was a fresco by Raphael that was painted for a house in Rome, the Villa Farnesina. You can tell it was painted during the Renaissance because there is a lot of perspective, and because much of the art in Italy during the Renaissance was concerning romance. This fresco clearly shows many scenarios of love and envy.
