1. A "burden" is like a a duty or a responsibility.
2. Kipling believes that the nations that are being imperialized are childish and are similar to devils. I don't think his description is correct because what he said was very racist. I do not agree with Kipling's views because America is not as great as he says and on top of that he's a racist. 
3. I would characterize Kipling's views as racist and disgusting. I do not agree with Kipling's views because once again America is not as great as he says and his views will have some kind of racist influence.
4.
