𖹭 Who am I?

I’m Lemuel Lagancia Tundag, 19 years old, born on December 17, 2004. I am a student with a passion for learning and a desire to make a difference in the world. I am currently studying at Cebu Technological University - Tuburan Campus, pursuing a Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Automotive. Make yourself more comfortable as we get to know each other.

I grew up in Alegria, Tuburan, where I developed a deep connection to the place. It is a quiet and serene area, where nature's beauty and our community's warmth coexist peacefully. It is here that I learned new things and shaped who I am today, with the help of my grandmother. I truly felt at home here, even though I once lived in Leyte with my mom, where nothing felt as much like home as it did with my Lola.

My educational journey began in elementary school, where I was motivated by curiosity and guided by dedicated teachers. High school deepened my love for learning, and I embraced the challenges with determination. Now, in college, I stand at the beginning of a new chapter, reflecting on how each step—whether success or failure—has shaped me into who I am today. I carry with me not only academic knowledge but valuable lessons and experiences that will continue to guide me.

Regarding hobbies and interests, I enjoy various activities that keep me engaged and active. I find joy in playing basketball, as it allows me to stay fit and connect with friends. I also love exploring different online games, often spending time with my cousins. Beyond that, I have a growing interest in learning new skills and discovering different activities that expand my knowledge and experiences. Whether it’s trying out new sports, reading about different topics, or exploring new hobbies, I am always open to new experiences that broaden my perspective.

⚠ My Biggest Fear

One of my biggest fears is losing a family member. The thought of not having my loved ones around brings an overwhelming sense of sadness and helplessness. Family is my source of support, strength, and motivation. Losing any of them would leave a deep emotional void that I fear I might never be able to fill. The love and connection we share are irreplaceable, and I can’t imagine my life without them.

Also, the fear of losing a family member goes hand in hand with the fear of not being able to pursue my dreams or even continue with my education. The emotional toll of such a loss can be so consuming that it might make it difficult for me to stay focused on my goals. I worry that I might become distracted or lose the drive to succeed in school, which has always been important to me. Education is my ticket to a better future, and without it, I feel like I could be lost.

I fear that grief could take away my ability to dream and achieve the things I’ve always wanted. Every day, I try to stay motivated and focused, but I can’t shake the feeling that this fear might one day become a reality. Losing a family member would affect my emotional well-being and disrupt everything I’ve worked hard for, including my future aspirations. I try not to dwell on these thoughts, but they linger in the back of my mind, reminding me that life is fragile, and nothing is guaranteed.

♡ What keeps me going?

What keeps me motivated in life comes from four main things: my family, my studies, my goals for the future, and the love of my life.

First and foremost, my family is a source of strength. Their permanent faith in me and the sacrifices they've made for my well-being motivate me to give my all every day. I know they're rooting for me, which gives me the confidence to confront any challenge. Making them proud and demonstrating that their efforts were not in vain is what motivates all I do.

Second, my degree program is essential to my everyday motivation. As an Automotive student, I am passionate about learning and preparing for a job that excites me. Each class, project, and lesson allows me to develop and polish my abilities to thrive in my chosen field. The knowledge I learn now changes my future and pushes me closer to the professional life I want.

Third, my vision for the future is a major motivation. I have clear goals for myself and for the people I care about. Knowing that my hard effort today will result in a better tomorrow motivates me. I am committed to creating a life that matches my aims and values, one that I can be proud of.

Finally, the love of my life is an important part of my path. Her affection, encouragement, and presence in my life inspire me to become a better person. It motivates me to keep going, especially on days when things seem challenging. The prospect of forging a future together motivates me to achieve and create a life we can both enjoy.

These four things—my degree, my family, my goals for the future, and the love of my life—combine to provide me with the determination and inspiration I need to keep going in the face of hardships.
