Why Sports makes us Happy

Sports can make people happy during the high points and low points of their seasons. Many sports fan are happy when their teams win a game or just pretend to be happy for that team that is just winning. An example will be during the NCAA tournament(March Madness). Many fans will vote for their favorite college team to win, but became happy when the colleges biggest rival losses. Many fans will become fake fans/bandwagoners who just like the teams because of the teams winning streak. This makes that college very happy because more merchandise will be sold and the college is getting more television publicity.

During Freshman & Sophomore year at Neuqua Valley, I have been apart of the Media Program. I am one of the students who produce Wildcat Weekly (Formal class is Broadcast Journalism & Production II). This makes me happy because I get to produce news stories for the entire world to see, but I can be very nerve racking because maybe their will be people who don't like what I have produced. Wildcat Weekly also makes me happy because I get a lot of respect from my other classmates, because I am taking a risk, by taking this class. Wildcat Weekly is only meant for Juniors/Seniors. Also Its happy when people thinks that I am a junior but really I am a sophomore.

Soccer makes me happy because of the adrenaline rush you get from running and beating a defender and scoring. It makes me happy when my travel team is considered one of the best teams in the state in our age group. After leaving this team at the end of the year,We worked several 100 hours together, and we had some great times together.

As a defender, I have to defend the other teams attack and trying not to get scored on. I makes me happy when I make a huge play on the defensive side which leads us into winning the game. An example would be during my JV2 soccer season, I saved many opportunities which could of lead toward goals. Plus, I would come up against taller and sometimes faster forwards and wingers I am happy when I do not let their best player score against us. In order to become the best, you must play against the best

Many people think that money is the only thing that makes people happy. But many people are mistaken. An example of people think that money is everything would be a experiment on YouTube where they stabled money to a suit and walked around New York City. Many people took money just for no reason, for example for tips. When a homeless man needed money for food he only took a couple of bucks to survive. In my opinion in order to be happy you don't need to have all of the expensive tangible items, you just need to be around people who care about you.
