This helps use know because he says that he is visting Juliet's body. We also know this because in lines 119-120 he says, "Here's to my love! (drinks) O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die." This supports his action because he dies after drinking poison in Juliet's grave. This affected Romeo because after he drinks the poison, we dies. It also has an effect on other charcters as well, but mostly Juliet. It was a big effect because his sadness over Juliet's "death" caused him to kill himself. His emotions did change throughout the play, but not very much. His emotions went from sadness, to love, but then back to sadness. The greatest consequence was that Romeo is now dead, and because of Romeo's death Juliet also killed herself.
