He states that these objects coming towards him are from a "gravitational pull" from the universe.</div>]]></description>

After research was conducted, it proved that the relation between the number of homosexuals in a state had no effect on the progression of a state's economy.</div>]]></description>

By having an authoritative reach over someone/group of people, it is more likely that whatever the authoritative person says/represents will be believed over the remainder of the people.<br><br>The picture below is a great example of appealing to authority in today's society. As generations evolve, we are becoming more involved in social media, the internet, and celebrities that they are becoming more influential than educationally trained individuals. This demonstrates appealing to authority by implying to women that Kim Kardashian uses this product to look the way she does, so it must work.</div>]]></description>
