A cuberdon is a cone-shaped candy from Ghent that resembles a nose in shape. In Belgian French, this candy is also known as "chapeau de curé" (the priest's hat). Tradition says that the recipe for the cuberdon was discovered by accident by a pharmacist in Ghent in the 19th century.

The outside is hard but the inside is gelatinous. The cuberdon has a limited shelf life of about three weeks, after which the inside begins to sugar. Because of this limited shelf life, the cuberdon is not exported and is therefore practically only available in Belgium.

The classic "neuzekes" have the aroma of a raspberry. Recently, there are also more than 25 new flavors for this candy. Today, there are several derivatives of cuberdons including gin, ice cream and cuberdon cake.

Between 2015 and 2017, a "neuzekes war" took place in Ghent, where the two competing stalls of neuzekes sabotaged each other (including with racist statements, labeling the sweets of the cocurrent as "chemical crap", ...). The trouble has since calmed down.

Who says Belgium, says chocolate. The chocolatier couple Guy and Liliane Foubert, together 'Guylian', made the famous 'seashells' for the first time in 1967. In the meantime, their creation has become world famous and these delicious 'seashells' are one of the many delicatessens among the Belgian chocolate products. It is a praline in the shape of a seafood, as the name suggests, with a roasted hazelnut praline filling. 👌

To many Poles, pierogi are remindful of childhood flavors and of their family home. Everybody knows that kids usually love flour dishes. Poles adore pierogi not only out of nostalgia for the past; they are the archetypal comfort food, satiating and hearty.
People love them because they can be eaten warm, cold, baked, fried or boiled. They taste great on the second day, grilled on a frying pan with some butter. They also freeze very well, so you do not have to eat everything at once.

you will be able to try two types of dumplings. will you be able to recognize what's inside?

How to make meat dumplings.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMpt-41UTOk
