Misschien ontstaat er wel ‘echte liefde’ voor onontdekte boeken!
Hoe werkt het?
Het idee is heel simpel, maar het kost wel wat voorbereidingstijd:

  1. Kies boeken uit waarmee de kinderen ‘op blind date’ kunnen gaan. Het leukste is om boeken te kiezen die weinig gelezen worden, maar waarvan je weet dat het verhaal wel de moeite waard is!
  2. Schrijf van elk gekozen boek de eerste zin(nen) op (‘de openingszin’) en een aantal trefwoorden. Geef elk boek een nummer
  3. Pak de boeken in in ondoorzichtig kaftpapier. 
  4. Stal de boeken mooi uit en laat de kinderen een blind date kiezen!

  • Gebruik de kaartjes klassikaal of in kleine groepjes.
  • Stel dezelfde vraag ook aan andere leerlingen.
  • Laat de leerlingen thuis eens een vraag stellen van de boekenpraatkaartjes, kom er de dag erna op terug in het kringgesprek.
  • Vraag door: waarover ging het dikste boek dat je ooit hebt gelezen? Waarom lees je stiekem in bed? Durfde je dat verschrikkelijk, vreselijk, afschuwelijk spannende boek eigenlijk wel te lezen?
