A family tradition that we did as a kid was to get in our pajamas on Christmas night and drive around and look at the lights on the houses.

I also celebrate New Years by staying up and watching the countdown to the new year. A family tradition I have is going to my Nana and Pop Pop's house on Christmas Eve with my cousins and we exchange gifts and have dinner. Before we go, we facetime Santa Claus and he tells us if we've been naught or nice. When we got home, we all go on the front lawn and sprinkle reindeer food. We also get cookies and milk for Santa on his special plate and cup. We leave out carrots for the reindeer too. 

On Christmas day, my dad looks downstairs to see if we got presents and we wait on the top of the staircase. We always take a picture on the stairs before we look at what Santa brought. Then we go and open our presents and read the letter Santa leaves for us. My mom makes really good cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We play with some of our gift. We get ready to go to my Grandma and Poppy's house. My other cousins will be there. We exchange gifts again. We have dinner there and talk about what a wonderful Christmas it was.
