This religion diffused into Peru from Spain who conquered much of South America and are mostly Catholic. Catholicism is a branch of Christianity which is a universalizing religion because it seeks to gain converts. Christians worship Jesus who they believe to be the messiah of the Old Testament. There holy is the bible. Christianity is a monotheistic religion because they believe in one god. There churches are large and symmetric.
