The element best represented in my pieces is shape, I used a rectangular and square shape to tie the two pieces together.

My artwork involves the elements of repetition and patterns. In each piece the flower is repeated in the middle and the dots are repeated at the top and the bottom. The two pieces are tied together because both the design and pattern are repeated on each piece.
