Good afternoon my team is called the Western historians, and we are writing about rules we think should be added at our school. We decide to choose phone usage at certain times at school. I think phones should be used in school'd because of many reasons. One reason is because what if there is an emergency but nobody knows and they can have their phone because it's in their backpack or powered off. But sometimes they can pretend to be in an emergency and call 911 because it happened at my old school.

Why we chose this rule cause lots of kids don't focus and are on their phones which gives them no time to get their work done if they can be used as a way of free time then people will have the energy to lock in and get there work done so they can use their phones so that makes this rule useful to make the students do there work which will stop the students that are on their phones and getting no work done if they do there work they can use the phones which will stop some the students that are not getting good grades and stop some of the studies that will not graduate. I don't even know why we chose this rule.

Many people had different answers about phone usage in school. Most of the students wanted to be able to use the phones because they said that if an emergency happened the school couldn't make a thousand phone calls in time. Many staff members said phones shouldn't be allowed because of pictures or videos being taken. Many said they would distract kids from learning, and not paying attention to the teachers. Some said they could cheat on tests and they said they should just keep the rule we have now.

How do we expect to change our rules for the school? We came up with many ideas of what should be done to change and what needs to stop for our rule to happen. You heard about the rule we chose, so how do we change it for the school, where there should be a certain time you can use your phone during school hours? We suggest that during passing periods or lunch, we should be able to use our phones, passing periods is another way they can check their phones outside rather than in class causing a distraction. We might have to change the rules during lunch because pictures or videos might occur more, but we think there will be fewer fights because people are on their phones. We made some rules for our rule. The biggest pro of the rule is preparing for the future. We know that in will likely be using technology and still using paper in pencil for some occasions. The biggest Con about phone usage is that they might think they can use it in the classroom now but we suggest that if you get caught using your phone in class it's a parent pick up and you have 1 week of detention knowing that you can use it outside of class. We don't know if our grades will drop or go up when we can use our phones in school now because people might try to cheat and think they can change the rules just because they have a little more freedom in school to follow strict rules. We should go back to the regular rules if our idea does not affect our school or has a bad effect but that's up to the students to make that decision, if we see a great response to this we will make sure to try our best and get it to our school district and use it for years to come. But some people might grow up and become a teacher or somebody that works in the school and not like the rule because it causes a distraction in the class but they remember they were like this before they wanted to change it back. What the to expect when we the rule get changed and using in at curran is this what to exact you know many kids at curran middle like to use their phones to text people and to record fights and used when in class and have an disturbed when doing the work which makes the students fall behind and get in trouble with their parents when they have that there student was using their phones in class and not doing the work find that they are failing in some the causes for example math science pe and tec so if we have start to use my rule they will be able to watch on there phones and not be falling behind which if you gave says that to an parents will say that are rule is better cause they are students will not be behind in the class and like for example math science and pe etc and they will have an better grades that is way higher the grade which will be make the parent face from being and an mad to an happy face cause there student is going to graduate because they have good grades which here comes the pro’s and con;s some of the pros are that there will an way where the students will be able to use in case of an emergency and be able to use the phones when there they in an big project which what i am in and be able to text them and if they are absent and so they can tell them to use there computer and catch up with what we have done and another peor is that and the student will be able to use the phones for music when n an tuff assignment cand that will help the students get there work which is an good thing and another and students will be able to used there phones when there work is done have an there phones and be able to used for games like cool math games which is blocked for some type of reason and the that will gibe the students more freedom and make the school not feel as like its prison and they will makes the students happy to and that they don't have to sit there.
