I have always lived within a sixty mile radius of my hometown, the furthest of which was to attend college. I graduated with Honors from Central Methodist University in the fall of 2016, with my Bachelor’s in English Education. In the fall of 2016, I began teaching English at Marshall High School in Marshall, Missouri, where I will begin my fourth year this fall. I have taught English I, English II, English III, and Drama. This year, I will be adding Technical Reading and Writing to that list. I also legally had to be adopted by my father, even though I am his biological child. I am also fortunate enough to have a classroom set of laptops in my room. We are also a Google School, so I use them a lot for my students to write, take assessments and quizzes, access homework and handouts on Google Classroom, and communicate with other students and myself via Gmail.
