How do people feel? Do they feel confident to speak up about research / ideas
How do you release time for those at lower band levels to attend research etc.
Encouraging curiosity for people to get involved - regular meetings / meet ups / discussions
Accessible presentations to engage people from all levels
Online forms - option for anonymity to reduce vulnerability
Research needs to be personal / meaningful to promote engagement
Fear that research will highlight issues or areas that are underperforming rather than seeing the positives
Research capacity can be a worry if busy already and so getting that support from research assistance for example
What does getting involved in research mean to different people?
Do people want to be involved in other peoples projects or run your own?
Lots of different needs in this area. Some people want to be involved in others and sown people want to lead their own project. We discussed that some people feel paralyzed by ethics or feeling like their research will be analyzed as if they were a full time researcher.
