The columbian exchange was a system of trade routes between the Americas and Europe/Africa. This was significant in history for many reasons, one of which being the flow of goods between continents, spreading different types of crops, spices and religion across the world. However, it also caused many diseases to infect certain areas, especially in the Americas where a lot of Native Americans died because of diseases Christopher Columbus brought over.

The Boston Tea Party was a protest led by the colony of Massachusetts Bay in direct protest to the newly passed Tea act which limited where the American colonies could buy their tea and made it harder to get tea from anywhere but the main British Company. One of the most famous acts preformed by the people in protest was the pushing of tea over the edge of a ship and into the Boston Harbor. They did this while being "disguised" as Mohawk Indians to "avoid" suspicion. The protest led to a series of acts being passed to punish the colony. (see Intolerable Acts)
