I’ve witnessed friends and family members being unfairly targeted by law enforcement, and i know that these experiences are not unique. The BLM movement provides a way for people to come together and work towards a more just and equitable society for all. I attend protests and am apart of this movement it’s incredibly important, and i will continue to support the movement in any way i can.

Overall being Catholic is an integral part of my identity, and it influences many aspects of my life from the way i interact with others to the way i approach challenges and opportunities.

Whether I’m feeling happy, sad, or anything in between, there’s always a song that can help me express what I’m feelings. Also it can be a form of escape when I’m stressed or overwhelmed, listening to music helps me relax and take my mind off of things. My favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Santa Fe Klan, Bruno Mars, and Bad Bunny.

It gives me a sense of belonging and pride to know that my ancestors came from a place with such a rich history and traditions. I have a strong connection to my Tierra because its part of my identity, its where my family began. I love learning more about the struggles and triumphs of my ancestors, and it inspires me to work hard and make them proud.
