I got a lot of knowledge by joining the Usrah Session. I wish by participating usrah will help me to improve myself to become a better person. From usrah, it teached me about Islam perception more.From usrah too i got a lot of new friends and i can communicates with other. From role-play we made it helps us to undestand better in the ittle that we complete.

WEEK 1 (ICE BREAKING)

We get to know each other in Usrah session and playing QnA games.

WEEK 2 (HADITH JIBRIL)

To achieve true Ihsan, we as students need to dedicate extra time and effort into doing assignments and study with the best effort we can offer. Because we know in everything that we do, every second, Allah is watching us.

WEEK 3 (RUKUN IMAN)

Belief in Allah
*Belief in Allah signifies that Allah is the true God Who Alone deserves to be worshipped, as He is the Creator and the Sustainer of all human beings. It also signifies that He is also fully aware of their secret and open words and deeds and is Able to reward the righteous and punish the disobedient. In fact, Allah created mankind and the jinn for the sole reason to worship Him Alone.

Belief in Malaikah
*Malaikat (ملائكة) or angels are created of Light. They do not have any free-will and they obey Allah's commands to the letter without question, performing their specific roles. Their numbers are astronomical. Believing in their existence is one of the Pillars of Faith.
Belief in Al-Quran
*To the Muslims, the Quran is the Word of God and contains complete guidance for mankind. Much of the Quran is about God, His attributes and man’s relationship to Him. But it also contains directives for its followers, historical accounts of certain prophets and peoples, arguments for accepting Muhammad as a genuine Prophet and good news for the believers and warnings for the disbelievers

WEEK 4(Believe in Prophets of Allah& Believe in the Judgement Day)

All muslim believe the Prophet and Messenger of Allah. They are the gifted human that received a revelation from God, which is guiding the mankind into the morality and goodness and the main point is believing that God is the one and only the Creator of this universe. Human must worship Him and follow His order and leave the restrictions. Moreover, Muslim must believe to the judgement day when Allah terminate creating all creature and human being. After all destroy and finally dead, He will raise all of mankind and lead them back to Him. All of the good and bad deeds will valued by Allah. Moslem believe the doomsday and the sign of it as predicted in the Quran and Hadith.

WEEK 5(IHSAN)

Ihsan means perfection. derived from the word husn which designates the quality of being good and beautiful. Husn in Arabic stands for every positive quality such as goodness, beauty, pleasantness, harmony.
EXAMPLE:

1)Ihsan towards Allah
2)Ihsan towards Parents
3)Ihsan towards Animals

WEEK 6( ADAB )
Adab toward parents, neighbours and society and adab as a student

Adab towards parents - As a child we need to respect and obey our parents (eventhough the parents id kafir). Methods to treat well one’s parents has been mentioned in Quran. For example, do not even say “ugh” , do not scold them, address them with respectable words and pray for them

Adab towards neighbours and society - Neighbour are those who live around our house. We need to be loving to our neighbours and help them when they’re in need (physically and mentally)

Adab as a student - A student need to respect their teachers and obey them in goodness as Allah acknowledges the elevated rank of a knowledgeable person. One also need to be responsible such as avoiding any act of cheating in any exams/assignments

WEEK 7

1. Adab or Ahkam which one is important ?
Adab : Islamic etiquette of having good manners and character
Ahkam : command of Allah that related to the behaviours of humans

Both Adab and Ahkam are important in seeking the pleasure of Allah. In Adab, we will find that morality is highly regarded in Islam while Ahkam when we obey Law of Allah we surely can enhance our Iman.

2. Does all bad ending stories are bad for us ?
-Be patient
-Do not give up !!

We must accept the faith Allah has given and always remember that behind every test there will be hikmah for us. Allah will reward those who are patient with the tests and do not complaint about what Allah has planned for them.

I love joining usrah sessions.My wish for this usrah is that we will be able to strengthen our ukhuwah and keep our close connection even after it ends. I sincerely wish all of us will be able to apply all the knowledge that we gained and become a better servant to Allah, In shaa Allah.

I hope in the future maybe the authority will improve the workload or syllabus of this course to make it more relatable and applicable for the students. That’s all. However, I still cherish and enjoy my last Usrah for this semester as I got a lot of input from its session. Thank you and Alhamdulillah.
