It was my mother who chose Thailand as our destination this time. I guess she loved Thailand was because she was curious about this country. Thailand has always been famous for their hospitality and the way that they support their tourism industry.

Similarly to Vietnam, rice is also the main component of Thai main dish. In their meal, they normally have rice in combination with chicken curry, deep-fried fish, and tom yum soup. The thing that strikes me the most is that Thai people use plate for their meal instead of everyday small bowl like in Vietnam. They do not rely on chopsticks either. Chopsticks, spoon, and knife are equally utilized during a Thai meal.

I will only visit two Thai cities. The first one is its vibrant capital - Bangkok, and the second on is a beach city - Pattaya, which is about 1.5 hours of driving from the capital.
