The primary reason parents should not spy on their children’s mobile devices is that it might create a serious breach of trust. Children who start using mobile phones are mostly in their early teens, which marks the beginning of puberty. During this period, they can become rebellious and aggressive more easily. Installing monitoring apps may make children feel untrusted, which could lead to conflicts with their parents. Over time, the parent–child relationship may deteriorate. Moreover, overly strict supervision is often ineffective, as it may encourage children to hide their activities elsewhere. Therefore, parents should prioritise open communication rather than imposing mandatory regulations.

Asian parents installing apps on the youngsters' mobiles for supervision has been a complex matter and informed from tons of arguments for approval and disapproval. On the positive side of the matter, these apps could create a protection shield for their offsprings, keeping an eye out for the risks like cyberattacks or frauds. For instance, the app also allows the parents to have contrtols on the screentime. On the other hand, imposing apps on their devices may take away the remaining privacy from the kids. The younger ones may felt untrusted or stalked.

There is no doubt that children’s excessive use of smartphones has become a widespread phenomenon in today’s digital age, driven by the technological advancements and also in societal trends. While smartphones offer benefits, I firmly believe the overuse among children is a negative development, thus parents should regulate their children’s phones with legal monitor program. A major reason children spend hours on smartphones is the applications. Such as social media, gaming platforms, and streaming services use advanced algorithms to sustain user engagement, often resulting in addictive behaviour. Further more, due to the lack of regulation, online platforms may also bring cyber harassments and bullying problems, which is detrimental to children’s health both physically and mentally. Therefore, parents should prioritise children’s privacy and safety in such unpredictable online environments, secured by these monitoring apps.

There is no doubt that it is essential for parent to not download app on children’s phone for surveillance although they might looking for some negative contents. The reason is parent should not to break the private space of adolescents might have, like the chat record, history of video have been watched. These kind of behavior of parent illustrate that they are not taking children’s emotion into account and might cause anger that teenagers have strong awareness to protect their privacy. As a result, it is tough to avoid the negative effect between the relationship in a family as the younger generation is always argument under supervision.

Given that the overuse of mobile phone has a range of effects on children , parents may try to tackle those detrimental impacts by using external restrictions. On the positive side , it may effectively reduce the amount of time children spend on their phones, hence protecting their eyes or due to other reasons. Nevertheless , these external restrictions may exacerbate children’s desire to use mobile phones which potentially leads to the opposite direction to parents’ intentions. It can create a sense of constrains to children in their daily life , therefore they may show resistance to their parents particularly during rebellious stage. Moreover artificial restrictions create a fake and superficial self-discipline , in doing so it may limit the child’s ability to develop personal and internal regulation , which may ultimately leads to a person without the ability to make decision for themselves. At the end of the day , monitoring apps is a tool to assist parents imposing control , so the point is that parents should stay accompany with children instead of using other equipment as substitutes.

Constant supervision can easily be perceived as a lack of trust, which may damage the parent-child relationship and discourage open communication. When children feel they are being watched, they are less likely to come to their parents voluntarily with problems or concerns. This missed opportunity for dialogue is particularly important in the digital age, where guidance is more valuable than control. For instance, if a teenager is exploring complex social issues online and knows their searches are being monitored, they might delete their browsing history or use other devices, preventing parents from having meaningful conversations about digital citizenship and critical thinking. Therefore, instead of relying on monitoring apps, parents should focus on building mutual trust and teaching responsible technology use. These skills of self-regulation and ethical decision-making are far more valuable than temporary oversight, as they prepare children to navigate the digital world independently and responsibly when they become adults.

I am not agree with parents put spy app in children phone, because this thing is very very bad and make a big problems. I think this action is not good, it can lower the trust between parents and kids, and make children feel very angry and not happy. When a children know parents is watching him, they will not talk with parents about their problem. They may think parents don't believe them, so they will hide everything, even the bad thing, and maybe escape from home. For example, a children maybe use phone to learn about some social problem. If he know parents can see everything, he will delete history or use friend's phone. Then parents have no chance to teach him how to use phone goodly. So, parents should not use a apps. They should talk with children more, teach them how to be a good people. This way is more better, because it can help children learn self-control and make right decision by themself when they will grew up futurely

Although some criticize this action as offending children’s privacy, I personally believe that benefits of installing monitoring apps on children’s mobile phone overweigh the drawbacks. For instance, videos of violence and pornography, which have massively appeared on the internet, may negatively influence children’s immature cognition, finally leading them astray. One extreme example is the religious-related videos that abetting teenagers to sign up for holy war and eventually causing thousands of deaths. On the other hand, indeed, everyone has the freedom of protecting their personal information, but children are excluded, especially those who are under the age of consent, their privacy should be opened to their parents, as they are unable to identify irrelevant information, parental monitoring are required to avoid those serious consequences. Therefore, privacy seems to be less critical when considering this potential issue.

It is undeniable that this trend has some significant limitations. This approach harms the privacy and human rights of children, which widens the emotional gap between parents and children and contributes to children feeling distrusted. Simultaneously, it may accidentally impair their capacity to distinguish the safety of online content independently, leading to young people over-depending on parents potentially. Over-control of parents can lead to rebelliousness and aggression in teenagers. The better way is to address the issue at its root through early education, which would be more effective, for instance , parents can use suitable language and real cases to teach children to recognize online threats. Along with that, this approach can improve essential abilities of children to explore the digital world responsibly, which cannot be provided by installing apps to monitor children.

One strong reason for supporting this view is that it’s invading children’s privacy ,which could leads to a more serious addiction of phone use. Parents should learn to provide their kids with trust instead of being a control freak. Studies show that asian parents tends to avoid showing their feelings and expressing their love for their children, which often makes children feel untrusted and insecured . Additionally, this factor plays a crucial role in parents relationship with their child. For example, some kids in their rebellious stage may start to have huge obsessions with phones once their parents start to pay serious attention to this and even start to installing their phones.thus, given this circumstance, parents should not be using this kind of impertinent way to control their kids.

To begin with, parents’ concerns increase as the age of their children become much more mature are reducing. This attributes to the lack of control of harmful information on the internet. In addition, children's ability to distinguish is relatively weak, causing the ineptitude to filter harmfulness. On the contrary, without regulation seems more respectful to children's privacy, but a secure environment for growth is more dominant than privacy recently. In conclusion, providing children with personal space is certainly integral, even though parents shouldn’t take the risk for this.

Although monitoring how children utilise their cellphone can contribute to some positive effect, in my view, it is a shortsighted behabiour. To begin with, the relationship between children and their parents may be deteriorated as kids may get a sence of violation and distrust, which is unconducive to personal development. On top of that, there is a potential dangerous that is the lack of self-control after supervision is cancelled. It is only when smart phones are restricted that adolescents can focus on studying. Taking Chinese studends as an example, there are abundance of undergraduats who are addicted to computer games after finishing high school where their electronc devices are exhibited, resulting in academic failure in university. Therefore supervision will probably play negtive roles in long-term development of juveniles.

One main reason is that these lack of trust actions may lead to the disharmony of parent-child relationship. Parents monitor their children’s daily activities online can make the children feel uncomfortable and disrespected, for a long time, they will become rebellious and aggressive, then have resistance to parents and may refuse to communicate. On the other hand, children lack judgment and self-protection awareness because they cannot make their own choices, and will also result in self-abasement and avoid problems. In the long-term, children who grow up under monitoring and are rebellious and lack judgment are susceptible to external influences, may easily go down the wrong road and engage in negative behaviours.
