I frequently visit my native Mettur Dam which is located near Salem. It has lush green paddy fields and beautiful meadows. There are various open fields where i would go along with my friends and play cricket. Summers are incomplete without mangoes, there are many mango trees in and around our house. I love the overall scenery of my village, the tall mountains and rocky meadows give such a pleasing view to the eyes. I also like the people out there, they are so kind and easily approachable that they treat me like I am a part of their family. There are factories in my village but of late they have stopped their functioning.

Muddy roads leading to water reservoir. The village I visited is located near Hosur ,it has flower plantation mostly sunflower, it turns itself to the sun which looks beautiful ,while we cross the muddy road we find a water reservoir where it is long and deep. Here you can see cows grazing the fields and the best part is the sun set ,the view is really refreshing. Sometimes we bath here too. Overall this place relax us from tensions of a city life. Things I would like to improve in this place is the muddy roads and install proper waste disposal units both biodegradable and non biodegradable wastes. The image I uploaded is the view of the reservoir I mentioned above. Thus my experience of a village.
In your life visit a village at least once because its advantage is unexplainable and it can be only be experienced.

Yes , I had been a village resident during 2011-13.
Actually, when I started to pen down all my experiences , there was a subtle thing that I noticed in a village (THE WORK-CHAIN).

My observations beginning from Dawn to Dusk were,
Early in the morning Cattle (Cows, Buffaloes, sheep) goes out for grazing .
Most of the village residents go to work in their own fields carrying lunch boxes.
They exchange Vegetables for milk products.
In villages Ghee , Curd, Milk are found in abundance.
The old aged people share their experiences among themselves sitting underneath a tree.
During the Evenings, The women folk chitchat with neighbours[(sarcastically)Under Ideal conditions].
At the dawn the cattle return home .

When I was trying to figure out a link among all these routines, I found out the work-chain is confined to the village boundaries making the people dependent on themselves .

There are variety of crops and rivers.
