In the summer, roaches and junebugs are a constant annoyance, yet the roaches are intolerable. Junebugs are kinda just around, though annoying, they aren't that gross. Roaches are plain disgusting especially being a decomposer. They live and thrive in filth and are even a representation of it. Might be harsh language but they are truly gross.

Both look disgusting to me but if I had to choose one to kill, it would be a roach. I don’t recognize the June Bug and I wonder why they appear. Roaches are difficult to kill. I wouldn't want a roach infestation because I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night comfortably. When I see a roach, I connect it to trash or being unsanitary. Per 1

I don’t like roaches what’s so ever. Roaches are ugly, they are nasty in general, and I’ve never liked the ones that fly. I’ve only had bad experiences with roaches as I grew up in an are very populated with them. Roaches go to where the foods at, they make the area look messy, overall there is nothing pleasing about roaches. In my opinion, roaches are just merely aggravating while June Bugs are absolutely intolerable. This is because I've seen more roaches than June Bugs. They're also easy to kill and not that ugly. On the other hand, June Bugs are incredibly ugly and that's what makes them more intolerable and terrifying. Roaches are also just much more uncommon to see because we live in Fresno.

Roaches are more intolerable than June bugs. They disrupt your environment and get everywhere where as June bugs usually tend to stay in plants or near gardens. You're able to notice the roaches easily specifically in warmer weather. With a big infestation they're more difficult to get rid of. They're much more of an annoyance overall.

Roaches are absolutely intolerable. I don't like them because they are hard to get rid of. They are hard to crush cause they’re small, they move around quickly plus bug spray doesn’t help. If you find one, it usually means there's more. Which is worse because they invade everything! They both don’t bother me but if I were to choose it would be the June bug. I hate when it’s hot outside. I would rather it be cold. I hate the June bug because it comes out in the warmer months. They all need to die.

I personally would never live with either. However I’ve had experience with roaches and hate them and never want to live with them again. I personally believe that June bugs are worst. The only reason I say June bugs are because they stick to you and everything else. They also are just very ugly to me. I believe they’re creepy and scary looking if you ask me. Roaches are ugly to but their not worried about us their just trying to survive.

I think june bugs aren’t too bad. I never see june bugs that much. However roachs are really bad. Whenever I see one roach I always see a ton of his friends with him. I personally can’t tolerate roachs.

The cockroach is by far worse. The reason i think they are worse is because of the process to kill them because they can just take off while you are trying to step on them, most of the time you attempt to you also completely miss even if you put your whole foot on it and if they do get away you then have to move the couch of get a spray to take it out also, i have never encountered a June bug or been bothered by one. So yeah, that is my reasoning for why they are worse. -Gerardo ochoa

In general I hate all insects but to me the most intolerable insect would be the cockroach. The June Bug is annoying but it doesn't bother me as much as the cockroach does. If you see you one cockroach in your home your bound to see more and that makes them even more unbearable. I have heard stories of cockroaches crawling into people ears and that just freaks me out even more. Cockroaches are also just very disgusting in general.

I find roaches to be the most intolerable. I think roaches are worse than junebugs because I think they are gross and irritating. The mere thought of a roach makes my skin crawl and the sight of one makes me want to immediately leave the room. I also don’t as many encounters with junebugs that I do with roaches. Overall I dislike roaches more than any other insect.

I feel roaches are the worst because they are nasty, multiply rapidly and like to stay in houses. While june bugs typically stay outside. Cockroaches also like to get into your food causing you to have to throw it away. June bugs are pretty cool so i have a bit of a biased opinion. Cockroaches are also hard to get rid of sometimes especially when you
live in an apartment and other people around you are dirty and you clean your house but other people don’t clean theirs causing roaches to spread from apartment to apartment.

Roaches are worst than june bugs. Roaches are hard to get rid of and can be seen all year long. June bugs are mainly seen in summer and can be easily spotted and get killed. Roaches move fast and can hide in various spots. When one roach is seen there is probably more and can be hard to find because of how small they are.
I choose this post because it was my strongest effort and best examples.

I personally thing June bugs are the spawn of the devil. They sound scary. And get big and fat as well. For example one time there was like 50 on my doorstep and so I started kicking them around and started screaming or kinda hissing at me like a cat and it freaked me out. The nasty thing was that I felt the bugs like through my shoe when ever I kicked them.

The bug I find most aggravating or intolerable is the June bug. They are very ugly and big. At my old house we'd play volleyball at the old house and June bugs would surround the lights we had outside. And they weren't scared of us either. They would fly by us or fly onto someone. I feel like roaches would be the worst one at anytime, because they can reproduce fast and if they get in your house it will be pretty hard to kill them all, there is always a few who stay alive. I had them twice and it was hell trying to kill them, I couldn’t leave any food outside neither mine or the dogs food because they would always come out at night and get on the good so I had to remember to put everything alway.We had two different companies take a look the first one who came didn’t do much they were just sleep for the time the gas or whatever he put was there,The second person had stronger gas so after we came back home all of them were dead.

I find roaches more and aggravating intolerable than june bugs. I personally have had bad experience with roaches and they absolutely freak me out. I never had any personal experiences in the past with June bugs so that’s why i find roaches more aggravating and more gross. As for roaches i believe that they don’t have a specific time of the year and tend to normally come all year round. Roaches are way worse than June bugs. First of all if there is one roach than there is a million hiding somewhere in that house. Roaches usually represent a place being nasty, for example if you see roaches in a kitchen of a cartoon chances are that the kitchen will be drawn looking dirty. My Grandmas house had roaches and when me and my mom would spend the night we would leave our bags in the car cause we are not trying to bring something home. when we would see a roach and we would be tasked with killing it either grandmas asleep or doing something, they be flying for no reason and scaring the hell out of you. they would be big and small so no matter what crack or crevasse they will sqeeze through to the other million roaches probably hiding in the walls

Roaches are the most intolerable. Roaches are known for how extremely difficult they are to exterminate. I also chose a roach because they are literally everywhere. I also chose this because every time you exterminate or find one of them there are always more of them. One time I found a whole army of them in the cabinet filled with unused spices. When I was about five years old, I found a roach on the street, and we drove right on it, but that little thing came back to life like if it was just a regular day.

I think Roaches cause they are annoying, they will be everywhere no matter what you do to get rid of them, they somehow still appear. There’s also many sizes, the small ones aren’t bad cause you can just step on it, also the medium ones aren’t that bad because you can also step on it but it’s gross. The big ones are gross cause you can see the face, you can also step on it but i wouldn’t recommend it. It also annoying when your try to kill one but you can’t cause they are fast.

In my opinion I think June Bugs are more worse than Roaches because, they fly next to your ear and crash into you, fly into your hair and stick onto your shirt. And they make a nasty ugly sound when they crash into things.

I believe that rats are the most intolerable if we compare them to sharks. Rats cause so much trouble and make such a mess. Their existence is just disgusting they're rodents that eat anything and everything. Sharks are in freshwaters.

In my opinion sharks would be worse or scarier. I personally believe that because what if you’re walking or swimming through the ocean waters and you get attacked not knowing that there was a shark that close. Sharks have large teeth so they chew faster and in a blink of an eye your arm is gone. Sharks are very undefeated compared to a human being. Rats can be invasive and they can be roaming around everywhere in our houses. An they make noises when your sleeping which can be disturbing. They can contaminate our foods and they can damage our walls, furniture, and clothing. They sometimes can leave a strong smell in the house. They can be hard to remove and can transfer diseases to a person or animals because they might be exposed to other substances or materials. Rats can access our foods and sometimes we don’t know they had touch that food so it can be unpleasant for us because we might get some of that food and we don’t know if the rats had attatched some kind of virus.

Rats are more commonly seen around sewers and trash and sometimes inside houses. They carry millions of bacteria with them and also eat your food as well as chip your walls. Even though they are fun to watch and colorful Fireworks are the best but the worst at the same time. You can hear them all night from more than two weeks before the 4th of July. Fireworks are bad for animals because it can make them scared and make them bark all night until the fireworks stop. Sometimes the fireworks can catch things on fire such as trees, bushes, cars, houses, and grass which is far worse than anything.

i believe the worst summer plagues are helicopters at night. They typically circle around till that person is caught or the lose them. Fireworks on the other had typically happen once a year for about a couple days and we expect it already so we've prepared. Helicopters come at random times they’re extremely loud if they’re lower to the ground and you cant complain about it. Helicopters also yse the really bright light to be able to see so it just seems like all the lights in the streets are on sadly.

Illegal fireworks, illegal fireworks can really be annoying because there just so loud and it really hurts your ears if your near buy. Also they are incredibly dangerous and canccoause a lot of damage to a person . If I had to decide which one I find more intolerable I would say a helicopter at night. The reason I chose a helicopter at night is because I don’t hear illegal fireworks go off that often it’s very common for me to see or hear a helicopter at night in certain areas. After a while you get to use to it but it still get annoying every once in a while. Illegal fireworks just seem way to rare to be intolerable. A helicopter at night usually ends up waking me up while I sleep so that’s pretty annoying. -Dominic

I find helicopters more annoying. One reason is because I can deal with one or two fireworks at night but I can’t with one helicopter. I will only find fireworks more annoying if it is the fourth of July. When a helicopter is near my area I cant find myself to sleep. I also find helicopters more annoying because they make a louder noise.

For me I would feel like fireworks will be more annoying because they don't stop, they can keep me up for hours and for helicopters I don't really care about it I hear it, but it's gone is a little bit. and when there is a helicopter, I usually take a little walk outside because I fell calm.

I think that’s the fireworks is worse. The firework could be super loud and shake the house which had happened too many times before. I could be sleeping so good then BOOM loud. The helicopter is kind of loud but I can definitely sleep through that. I am also a heavy sleeper so the helicopter wouldn’t affect me much. The firework will because it like shakes my windows and stuff.

I personally love fireworks & 4th of july but sometimes they could get annoying when people over do them or like a lot at once. Especially when you have animals , they’re very scary and tend to run away or bark! Also i remember this one time i lit a firework and it exploded out of the sides of the tube thing and burnt my leg before. Other than that i don’t think they’re that bad to listen to.

I personally think fireworks are more of a nuisance only becuse I have dogs and one of them is scared and the other barks whenever they hear them and not only that since I live in ghetto apartments they light them up like right in the drive ways and then they set off car alarms that get very loud and since people are sleeping they wont turn the alarm off till like later or it stops by it self and to even add on to it I live on the second story so it gets so loud But I can’t really complain since it’s a nice view sometimes and even we do the illigal fireworks as well

When it comes to loud disruptions at night you cannot miss mention either illegal fireworks or loud helicopters. At night is when usually a lot of people light up illegal fireworks and it really is the worst. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a gun shot or a firework that’s how loud they are. They are pretty disruptive and loud. Helicopters usually tend to be quiet but stick around for a longer time period. Fireworks are more annoying, they’re not annoying at first because you’re probably outside enjoying them for the 4th of July. Once you try to go to sleep it’s when they get annoying because they’re loud and it impossible to ignore them. It’s worse when your neighbors the ones that has the illegal fireworks because it even louder. Some of them are not that bad their loud but not to much but the loud once are the once that make you jump and even sets the car alarm off . I feel bad for the dogs because they don’t know what’s going on and get scared, my dog was hiding under the cars and was barking a lot.

He says that he felt empathy for the people in the war and showing us what’s happening to humanity. He also said that there is so much loss happening when trying to wipe out a country. The Superbowl ad I found persuasive was the Statefarm ad because I found it very funny and the fact it involved Arnold and Danny DiVito. They added a nice comedic relief to the ad and was up playing Statefarm.

Using Ocean Vuong in my IO the global issue will be more understandable. Vuong uses a lot of Imagery to symbolize things that have happened in his life or the life of other but it impacted him. The global issue being Identity, Culture, and community.

I will use Ocean Vuong Poetry in my IO. It will help me explain the impact on war to communities and people.

For my Body of Work I will use Hosam Katan's work. This is the best choice for me because it focuses on the same issue. It gives visual examples of people's emotions and feelings about war. It also captures the reality of war and expresses pity to those who have to deal will the effects of war.

I would do Ocean Vuong's Poetry for the Individual Oral because I feel like I was able to grasp a better understanding of the poetry. The field of inquiry would be within beliefs and values. The global issue that would be presented in Ocean Vuong's Poetry would be the complex realities that are being evolved around a diversity of people within war, brutality, and not being able to live in a safe environment.
