This is because I feel these people would be most interested in trends and gossip. Which is a lot of what my magazine would contain, even though it is a music magazine in general it does lean towards popular music and trends.

FRONT COVER 

I have made sure my front cover is eye-catching with contrasting colours and shapes. I decided to do this because young people are often attracted to colours and busy pages. So i put a good amount of colour on the page as well as making all the contents and information interesting by having shapes and lines to draw more attention to them.

INTERNET AND ONLINE

The links that my magazine have to social media would be key to attracting young people, as paper copies of everything is going out of date, having an online version would be very important, which is why I made this an available subscription and option. This would also help me target my audience by putting links and adverts in places where I know they are likely to be online and watching.

LAYOUT

I decide to make the layout of my magazine clear and easy to read. This along side bright colours works well for young people who may not be interested in reading long articles but want the latest gossip, having everything concise and bold means people wont become bored of the articles, also in my double page spread I changed the colours of the writing not only to make it clearer but also more interesting so they reader is not just staring at one thing and trying to follow it down a full page.
