The Greensboro sit-ins were when four students named Ezell Blair Jr., David Richmond, Franklin McCain, and Joseph McNeil did a nonviolent protest at a segregated lunch counter area. Even though they were denied service, they didn't leave until the store was closed. The next day, they came back with even more college students.
