Ladies and Gents I trust you are all well. This week we begin the final sessions leading into the final assessment which is the 1000 word essay on a topic of your choice that has been covered throughout the module. There are four themes remaining. These being The Charging process, Diversity within the Criminal Justice System, Youth Offending Teams and Restorative Justice. You are no doubt aware of the difficulties that the unprecedented lock down is causing particularly for face to face teaching. In light of this I am going to post the PowerPoint presentations prior to the sessions we would normally have. I will present on line (Microsoft Teams) a shorter session on the days we were due to meet these being Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings and Wednesday mornings for the next three weeks. I am aware that a number of you may not be able to make the sessions for various reasons but if you can please do. I am more than satisfied that we have covered enough module content for you to be able to complete the remaining assessment in any event. I will be available from 0930 - 1530 for you to contact Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in any event regarding any advice or guidance that you need.
