I cannot seem to grasp how to grade students on the standards based report cards. They are going to be continuing pathways/playlists for standards that aren't mastered while others are moving on. Do you typically grade in a spiral, in this case? For instance, when they "get behind" do you grade what they "get to" as well as what they've been exposed to on the report cards?

Answer:
The pathways are paced as a team. Report cards reflect what the team has decided on as reflections of mastery for the standards. Focus on what was covered for the bulk of the quarter.
