Hello ! My name is Bozhena and I am 12 years old . I was born in Ukraine . I have 2 dogs and I love them very much . This year was perfect : I entered classical gymnasium , I met a lot of new friends . But 24th of February the war in Ukraine started . So my mum , my brother and I went to Croatia .A lot of my friends come there . So it wasn't so boring . In Croatia we were four months , and then we went to Poland for a few days. I saw a lot of beautiful places in Poland , it was very interesting . Then we went to Austria for a few days too . I tried speak German , it was really hard. And finally we went to Croatia again . For this 6 and half months I haven’t been to Ukraine . But I know that , I will come to Ukraine when we will win . I really want us to win the war because wherever we were but it is the best at home .

The trip was very interesting. I am very glad that we went. I liked the quest at the end the most. It was incredible. Running around the city and looking for small sculptures. As the guide told us, there are more than 65 of them in Uzhhorod, but we found 27 (we ran around the whole city). I also liked the Shernburn Castle. Especially the sakura trees. In Uzhhorod, they had already faded, but there they were in all their glory. First we listened to an interesting history of the castle, and then we had free time to take pictures. We walked around a little bit of the Shernburn park and made unique shots. It was just wonderful. P.S. Maybe our next trip will be to the Karpaty and we will learn even more interesting things.

On Thursday we visited some incredible places. We had to go to Zakarpatya at 6 a.m, but air raid alarm broke off our plans, so we went two hours later. First we arrived at Shenborne Castle, which was built according to astronomical laws. It has 4 chimneys( 4 seasons in a year), 12 entrances ( 12 months in a year), 52 rooms (52 weeks in a year), 365 windows (365 days in a year) and from the air this castle looks like number «1» (1 year). Also there was one more window, which was walled up all the time except in leap years. There are many mysterious legends that our tour guide told us during the trip. Also in this castle we saw very beautiful garden with small lake and many Sakuras. Then we went to Uzhhorod, where we visited one more castle with interesting history. It was built in a mixture of architectural styles and materials between the 13th and 18th centuries and figured heavily in the history of Hungary. Our tour guide told us a story about king, who walled up his daughter, because she let the Poles in the castle for her beloved. Then we had free time and quest between two classes (our class won of course). We were walking along the waterfront, drinking iced coffee and taking photos with the Sakuras. After this hard day we went to Lviv by the bus. We were having fun there, when the bus broke. While bus driver was fixing bus, we were walking in the forest, where we stopped. Finally our bus was fixed and we went home. We arrived near 23.00 p.m. After this long day, I was exhausted but not disappointed!

On Thursday my friends visited Uzhorod I wasn't there so I red different stories about it and wrote my own.

In Ustynas story I red about more than 65 small sculptures, but she found only 27.

In Katias I red about Shenbors castle since 1946 there were Karpaty sanatorium. The architect of this castle is very interesting. Castle has four chimneys because of four seasons of year, twelve entrances because twelve month in year, fifty two rooms because fifty two weeks in a year, three hundred sixty five windows because in year we have 365 days and if we look on it from air, castle will look like number one because 1 year.

And from Annas story I red about broken bus and while driber was fixing it, my classmates were walking in the forest and when driver fixed bus they arrived to Lviv.

On Thursday our class had a trip to Uzhorod. We visited 2 castle and city. The first stop was a castle Shernborn🏰. I think this is the best place of the trip. The castle has interesting history and architectural. The castle has the form of the number ”1”, 12 doors🚪, 4 chimneys, 52 rooms, 365 windows🪟. Do you know why? Because castle built according to astronomical laws🌟. So, 365 windows — days in year, 4 chimneys — year seasons, 12 doors — months in year, 52 rooms — weeks in year. We all know about every 4 years there are 366 days in the year. And there was another window in the castle and every leap year it was opened. Wow!

In the second world war soldiers🪖 turned the castle into hospital🏥. They saw that the sick recovered quickly. And made castle into sanatorium. And now it is a sanatorium. Also near castle beautiful lake. There are grown sakura🌸. I really liked this place.

The next stop is city Uzhorod and castle. First we went to castle. Unfortunately I didn’t remember about history anything but the tour guide told us story about girl 👧who wallked up and her ghost 👻walks around castle. She wallked up because she loved enemie. After castle we had free time in the city and game. I and my friends went to cafe to have a dinner😋 when we finished eat there was very little time for game and walks. My friends walked very slowly so I went faster with Nika . After Nastya run to us and said that she knows a very nice place with sakura. We had very little time, but we went and not in vain. We took photos and ate ice cream🍦. Luckily our class won🥳 ( P.S I didn't do anything ). And we came back home.

So, it's a cool trip but there was very little free time in Uzhhorod.

In general,out travel to Uzhgorod was awesome. In the tout we visited 2 castles and had free time in town,to go for walk and eat something.

The first place we visited was palace of the Schonbornn Counts.This palace was built by count Erwin Friedrich Schonborn-Buchheim in 1890-1895,but from 1949-this is sanatorium “Carpathians”.Near palace is garden with decorative lake in the centre. In this garden grow sakura trees and all my classmates took photos with them!Out guide told us a legend,that the palace has a shape of number 1(because 1 year),12 entrances(as in year mounths),52 rooms(as in year weeks) and 365 windows(the number of days in a year).

Probably,this is the best place we saw in our tour!

Near tke lake is bazaar and I bought with my friends many souvenirs for my mum and dad.Maybe,in 2025 I will go to Uzhgorod again with my classmates to eat a Uzhgorod cake.

On Thursday I and my class visited to awesome castles and beautiful city called Uzhorod. We left Lviv at 7:30 a.m. First of all we arrived to the Shenborne Castle. It is amazing place at Chynadiyovo. There are beautiful lake, castle and park where sakuras grow. Castle was built according to astronomical laws. It has 4 chimneys (4 season in a year), 12 entrances ( 12 months in a year), 52 rooms ( 52 weeks in a year) and 366 windows (365 days in a year) but one of then is closed and opens one time for 4 years. From the air castle looks like number “1” (1 year). Then we went to Uzhorod Castle. This is really big castle. This place has a lot of legends and I tell one for you. There was one king and he had a daughter. She liked one boy but he was polish and after some time war was started. And this guy went to army. Polish soldiers started storm castle when lived king and his daughter. In one night king’s daughter went to the yard and saw her boyfriend. She decided to surrender the castle to enemies. When king understood this he was really angry to his daughter for that and decided to wall up daughter in the wall. Some people say that her spirit is in the castle now. After we went to the centre of the city and saw Uzhorod in all his beauty. Also we went for the lunch. Our company decided to eat pizza. Uzhorod has got 65 minifigures. We had little competition which class find most. Our class won and got a prize so we were really happy. In free time I and my friends went for a walk in Uzhorod. Finally we left Uzhorod and went to Lviv. We arrived near to 11 p.m. and we were tired a little bit. But it was really interesting and awesome trip🤍🌸

I had to go with my class in Uzhorod on Thursday but I got ill. I think that was Interesting. From other stories I know that:

The first place that they visited it's palace of the Schonbornn Count. It was built in 1890-1895. It was very beautiful and has 4 chimneys and 12 entrances and 365 windows .

Than Uzhorod castle now it is use as a local history museum.

Near the castle was beautiful lake and trees "sakura".

I think after free time they had game with sculptures and they won a cake ... it seems.

After all this they went to home .

So that is what I read in their stories.
