Claes Oldenburg was one of the people who inspired Pop Art movement 1960's, Claes Oldenburg became known for his giant sculptures of everyday objects such as hamburgers, ice cream cones, toilets, and typewriters, most of these sculptures made from foam. Claes Oldenburg later built colossal sculptures, Claes Oldenburg main sculptures were helped built by his wife 'Coosje van Bruggen.' Claes Oldenburg was awarded the National Medal of Arts in the 2000's.
