I loved collaging and using different techniques to rub off ink and adding patterns using glue. It was a bit of a process and it was difficult laying everything out but I actually really like the final product. The red-orange oil pastel worked really well with the deep red to create a vibrant, but neutral skin tone. I also chose yellow and red to use as the skin tones because these colors are symbolic of Native American culture, and the boy in the picture is native to the Lakota-Sioux tribe. In addition to this, purple and yellow are complimentary colors, so the hair and skin helped to bring some contrast to the piece. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" is a legendary album and the album artwork is very famous.
