How the earth formed and its age

The old earth says that everything formed in Nebula hypothesis which is when a bunch of materials come together creating the earth 4.5 billion years ago going along with the big bang theory.

The new earth says that God created everything in 6 days and resting on the Sabbath.

Tectonics and Super Continents

Super Continents is the theory that the earth is old enough to have the continents move back and forth multiple times which is said to have happened 300 million years ago.

The world isn't old enough for the continents to have done that multiple times, but some people believe that the flood caused them to separate and that by looking at the globe they would fit like a puzzle.

Ice Age

Scientist think that with the old earth the ice age was caused from a sun output 2.8 billion years ago.

The earth isn't old enough for the ice age to have happened 2.8 billion years ago because Job referred to it in the Bible.

Flood

The flood happened killing everyone and everything.

Fossils

The new earth says that fossils were 1,700 years old and plants grew before the flood.
